After a nearby building site uncovered a WW2 bomb and a controlled detonation was carried out the housing association, surveyor and contractors asked me to attend the site to ascertain the extent of the damage to their properties. As soon as the site had been deemed safe to enter I was able to attend the site. This proved a much more cost-effective way of reviewing several properties within one area as access had been difficult due to increased security. I was able to collect images for all properties involved without putting any site staff to further risk of health by being able to thoroughly review the buildings before anyone needed to physically access some of the areas.
